Fleeting Visions
Trapped in the cage of time,
Some visions,
entwined.
Fleeting traces like these,
In which you’re near me.
Never shall they cease,
Fading echoes that were truly free.
Wherefore,
outlined.
As long as I breathe,
As long as my eyes shall see,
May long live these marks,
That give life to we.
Reminisces,
behind.
Having lost them, my love,
We thirst for them eternally—
Brisk transients of time,
Is all they will ever be.
Tomorrow
undefined.
And only in-time rhymed.
Hold on to these:
Fantasies!
Glimpses, prints and remains.
Now as much as you may wish,
they won’t ever happen again.
Some visions,
undermined!
